Yup! Surgery is over in done with which I am super happy about. I had two goes at getting it all and feeling like most of it is healing ok. One end of the scar area is really bumped out and tender where as the rest of it is healing nicely. I will ask about it tomorrow as they are checking 'the wound' as they like to call it before I meet the oncologist.
Ive noticed a few people have mentioned nerves about starting tamoxifen. I dont know anything at all about it yet as i am trying not to let my self get overwhealmed. How is it going for you so far? Better than expected I hope!
I think I am going to buy a wig simply so I dont have to keep telling my story over and over! I work in a tiny jewellery shop and talk to SO MANY people each day and want to just be able to do my job not be gabbing about cancer all day (Yuck right?!). Not up to going wig shopping just yet but happy looking at what is online and seeing where local shops are based.
Has your wig been comfortable? Any tips for when I do venture out shopping?
