I had 2 lymph nodes removed in October and in February after finishing chemo and radiation had a swollen hand and arm, (told it could be lymphoma but would be unusual with only 2 nodes removed) the swelling went down after about 3 weeks but did go and see the physio nurse at CGH. She advised me to have a compression sleeve. Did not take advise. In June had pain in the area of my lumpectomy and a sore arm that felt like electric shocks on the inside of my arm, and worse when I stroked it. I went to see the physio I was advised to see and she told me my ligaments have corded and I need to stretch them. She has given me (paid for it) a compression sleeve to wear during the day and take off to go to bed. Go and get checked as it is easier to sort things out earlier than waiting till things get worse. I am on Letrozole and still having my 3 weekly Herceptin injections, also taking turmeric, magnesium and vitamin D. Good luck.
