My chemo is to be 3 FEC then 3 docetaxel cycles. In the 2 weeks after the 1st dose (June 27) I need to interview for a permanent vacancy. I would really appreciate hearing any advice on when might be best time to schedule.
The oncologist said that it will probably be the 2nd dose before hair loss which means that I won't scare applicants - is this what others have experienced?

I do know that I have to look after myself and yet doing this one work thing is the one I can't seem to let go! I'm just hoping I can get this done and if I dont work again through chemo so be it. From what has been said I think I'll schedule for as late as possible and closest to the end of the 3 week cycle - might just have tohope for a wig or good hat to do the job!!

Mine fell out day 18 after my first dose. Really the best time to interview is just before the second dose. The three days prior to having the next chemo were the days that I could actually do things like normal. Your head will be foggy some of the time.

My hair loss was at the end of the 2nd week on the first cycle... I haven't heard of too many lasting past the first cycle. Sorry!
My hair began to fall out slowly around the 2week mark after the first round of chemo.I was completely bald a week later.
