Need suggestions, desperate don't know what to do

Hi lovely & supportive ladies,

Today after conversation with my oncologist over the phone, the conclusion is: 
I will continue with Arimidex until my 5 years finishes which will be the middle of the next year and for my bone starting with 6 months Ploria bone injections.
I will do my bone density next year if it is worsen I will stop Arimidex and then continue with Tamoxifine.
I hope the decision works for me.

I was given Tamoxifen as my bone density was no good. I have found that the genetic brands Genox 20 has the least side effects for me. when i went onto the tam brand I had lots of side effects. Now the ones I have are controlled easily. Hope this helps 

@AllyJay, sorry to know that before you had fractured ribs but glad that it's now stabilized. I am always afraid of taking any injection because they give me unusual side effects, once I had flu vaccination that give me side effects for two weeks so that is the reason I never get flu vaccination. Anyway I have to get bone injections, no choice.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2016. When having a breast MRI and lying on my stomach, I broke a rib. The doctors firstly established that I didn't have bone mets, then said I was almost certainly osteoporotic. This was confirmed with a bone density scan after chemo and before starting letrozole. I've subsequently had another two rib fractures, different ribs, and without a fall or blow to the chest. I have prolia injections six monthly and my bones have now stabilised. The only problem I've had, is that about two full days after the injection, I get a migraine type headache, which I never usually suffer from. My doctor has said that some people get a delayed reaction to some drugs and that may be it. I just take two paracetemol and lie in a darkened room for a few hours, and it passes.

Hi @zan, i have an imfusion of zometa. Like chemo drip but short. My mum has osteoporosis and she gets an injection. You will need to have that. My mum had a fracture od her spine doing nothing. Very painful .

After diagnosis of osteopenia 4 years ago my oncologist never advised me any bone injection which I believe it is her (oncologist) fault, only given calcium and vitamin D. Now that I'm on the border line to osteoporosis she has advised me an yearly injection. I am not content with her treatment.
