Sorry to hear about this. I was in the same situation last year just a few weeks before my 30th birthday last year. My breast care nurse helped arrange an appointment at a fertiliy clinic. My specialist worked at a public hospital but also had a private clinc. It was covered by medicare and I didn't have to pay for anything. I'm in WA so don't know if it's different here. I managed 2 sessions of IVF before chemo. Sadly both attempts to harvest eggs failed. I think maybe because I had only just came off the pill. I was also given an implant in my stomach to protect my ovaries, think it was called zoladex. My periods stopped during chemo, I finished chemo end of November and they came back in April. Although I've been told to wait 2 years before I can try to get pregnant.
