Yes,you never can tell when those mini melts might strike! Glad your prosthesis fitting went well.I still find my Berlei bra the most comfortable.I use my soft form to go inside my swimming costume pocket.I had to "doctor"my swimmers-just have to remember to wring out the foam boob when coming out of the water! You've come such a long way Robyn and even though you've finished chemo, you've still got to wait for the hair to grow. When my hair got to about 2cms I swapped over to headbands cos I still needed my security. My hair took forever to grow. When I started Tamoxifen I went really slowly to get my body used to it ie.1/4 tab for a few days, then 1/2 tab for a week and then a whole tab.My oncologist recommended doing this.I've been on it for over 3 years and there were times when I've stopped/started it again and I've had pv spotting which had to be investigated. But this is what can happen when you start or stop this drug so don't be alarmed.I get a few hot flushes but otherwise it's agreeable.I used to worry about uterine cancer but a pelvic ultrasound puts my mind at rest. I'm so glad you are feeling back to normal and good luck with Tamoxifen. Tonya xx
