NATALEE trial
New thread to discuss the NATALEE trial (double blinded study evaluating use of CDK4 inhibitor in hormone positive early BC) Feel free to post if you are likely to enrol/have already enrolled :) ...
Confirmed today I will be going ahead with trial unless the clinical researchers find a reason I’m not eligible, Onc doesn’t see anything impeding me. Will involve a few more frequent visits to hospital for three years then ideal but as I’ve said, it’s important for the next generation of treatment options. Have decided I will keep my port for the bloods needing to be done regularly until my veins return in my one arm avail, unless I have an issue with my port in the mean time.
Only thing bad about trial is it reduces the types of AI I can be on to Letrozole and Anastrazole only.. I suppose if I have issues with this over time I will disenrol from trial and have a try at another therapy.
