Nail issues AC chemo

About to go for my third dose of AC chemo fortnightly.  Noticed what I thought was an ingrown fingernail over the weekend, then 48 hours later I had four of them!   Turns out its something called  Acute Paronychia and is an infection in the cuticles.  Quite tender and sore.  Oncologist has given me antibiotics to try and clear this up, but discovered these fantastic little 'toe sleeves' at the pharmacy that are just brilliant.  They are called Synxgeli fabric toe cushions, and I've cut them in half so have 4 to cover my finger tips so I can continue to work in comfort!

  • @Jenni22  they are great. Ive used them for mostly toes. Like you i chop them in half. I’ve found with the neuropathy i don't always notice knocks or blisters so i use so i can still put my shoes on
