My Treatment Plan Freak out

Hello:) I am so wishing that you have a manageable run with the chemo! I'm just in the 5th cycle of FEC but it's actually my 6th chemo cycle because I had a severe reaction to my first cycle (was supposed to have TC - doxetaxel). Unfortunately I have had very severe nausea on FEC so just remember that we're all different and you need to speak up if you're suffering...that's what your oncologist is there for! They get so frustrated with me because I try and suck it up and it meant I ended up in emergency twice:)) On the issue of port I would recommend it - my veins have really suffered and I hate having it have them try and find a vein that's still useable (I've had to be in hospital on anti-nausea drugs 4 times so wish I'd had port). Only thing is that epirubicin may not be good via port so I'd recommend discussing port with your oncologist! You have a journey ahead of you that is truly terrifying...be kind to yourself and vent when you need to!!! All the best:)
