My Tainted Titty!
Hi there! I am so happy to have found this network! Before I knew about here, I had already formed a blog elsewhere for my friends and family to read about what was happening, but really want to share with people who can relate and share advice and opinions. So I will be sharing my blogs!
I look forward to hearing from you all!

In the beginning of March 2012, I found a lump in my right breast.
I left it for about a week and went to my GP. I had a ultrasound. It didn’t come back looking too good, so a mammogram and a biopsy was performed literally 2-3 days later.
On Monday 19 March I received the news that my biopsy has come back positive for Cancer. Tuesday 20 I received a call from the Royal Melbourne Hospital to arrange my meeting with them. Thursday 22 March I had my meeting with them. Wednesday 28 March I had my Pre Admission for Surgery and then Friday 30th I had my Breast Conserving Surgery!
It Literally took 1 whole month for me, the GP and the Hospital doing their stuff! I think that is pretty amazing! Something else that I also think is pretty amazing is that I had Breast Conserving Surgery which involves removing the breast cancer and a small amount of healthy tissue around it!
It used to be, that your whole boob would be removed, so I count myself luck that research has changed that!
My journey will be a challenging one ahead, but I know with all the support and love I have recieved, I will be fine! Thanks so much! xoxoxoxoxoxox
