Sorry to hear that you having some pain. Because they sometimes damage nerves during these procedures you can experience pain from this as they repair themselves. Keep doing the exercises as otherwise you do stiffen up and this can create movement issues.
I found that it was helpful to keep on top of the pain at night as getting a good night's rest helps your body to recover more quickly. During the day try to distract yourself, do the exercises and if you need to take some panadol this is fairly normal for this stage of recovery.
I imagine you will be seeing your surgeon for your post-op check and to get your pathology results this week. They will check your wounds but generally signs of infection would be redness around your wounds, a temperature and general feeling of unwellness. If you only have a little pain and it is relieved with panadol this sounds fairly normal. Take care and I hope your pathology results are good. Deanne xxx
