My other blog
Hi Everyone,
I've been writing a blog since I was diagnosed with Triple Neg in July of 2013. Here's what I wrote about why i decided to not have reconstruction:

Following on from that are all of the blogs about my recent bilateral mastectomy.
I'm currently in hospital and recovering well. The last of my four drains is due out tomorrow and I'm cleared to start doing my yoga again. I'm so happy. Just going without it for a week has confirmed how important it is to me. The idea of giving it up for months to have part of my tummy moved to my chest is even more unpleasant than it was four weeks ago.
Of course, now that I don't have breasts, all I can see is my tummy! I still love it. I love that it's smooth, scar free and just a bit rounded.
My body is a warrior. It's held up to chemotherapy without nausea. It's recovered from two breast conserving surgeries and it handled six weeks of radiation without blistering. Enough!
Time for me to be well, active and cancer free.
I also think I look pretty good without breasts.
Meg
