It is full of unknowns in the beginning, but as you move along, and begin to get your plan for treatment, you will start to feel more in control.Try to remember, that these days, breast cancer is very treatable, and most women go on to live long healthy lives.I felt EXACTLY like you in the beginning, but once I had that appointment with the surgeon,I began to feel a bit better. As Christine said, take someone with you,as there is so much information, and you WONT remember. It really is a good idea to write it down also.I took my daughter with me,and at that first appointment, she had a little notebook and jotted everything down.So just take things one day at a time at the moment, and as soon as you know what treatment you will be having, you can come back on here and let us know, and the ladies on here will be able to give the best advice as to what you may need to purchase,or start to do,to prepare yourself the best way that you can.Take care.xoxRobyn
