I shave the last little whisps of mine off today, i got a number 2 (8mm) crew cut when it first started to fall, out and then it sort of hung on and began falling out again about week 2 after cycle 2, and i got SICK of it. So I gave it a number 1 and then got at it with the electric razor and shaved it all off (I was sick and tired of little hairs everywhere, and the horrible feeling on my head when the heair rubbed the wrong way in my hat (that feeling you get when you leg hair etc grows back to stubble and it gets rubbed the wrong way by your socks or clothes - YUCK - and having that all over my head was driving e nuts). Sure I probably haven;t got them all, Will have to get hubby to give it a going over tonight, but I am happy.
I am not going the wig route, and will stick with hats and being bald (hats for the most part as Canberra is COLD in winter (had numerous below zero nights already (thank goodness for cotton sleep caps), and I have NO issues with being seen with a bald head)).
Sorry to hear you have lost your hair, but you let it go on your terms. You have your wig now and you are NOT alone.
Stay well, stay happy, and enjoy the ease of showering now with no body hair (? I got the chemo brazilian first, then arm pits, then the head hair began, then the leg hair (all gone) - still have most of my eyelashes and eyebrows so far, and my arm hair, sill seems all there). Showing now is SO quick, not much to do in there anymore <LOL>.
