Hi Joy,
Thanks for thinking of me. The port went in no trouble. I was in a fair bit of pain after and they gave me a morphine tablet. I was OK till I got home at about 2pm, I had got my antibiotics on the way. Took one, felt ill, so I lay down. My mother had made fruit salad for me so I ate some. She went home, my son was with me and I started itching. Looked at my arm, rashes, my left eye got itchy and started to swell. I thought oh bugger the antibiotics have something in them that I'm reacting to. Phoned my mother and she said doesn't sound like a drug reaction what have you eaten? The fruit salad had paw paw in it. I never eat paw paw because I don't like it. Seems I'm allergic to it. It was an eventful afternoon. I'm hoping I'll be much better tomorrow. I have rested all afternoon and my son cooked dinner for us.
