Yes, I'm now better for knowing where I'm going and what to expect. The oncologist was very informative and happy to answer any questions. I trust her to do her best for me and that's half the battle I think. All I have to do now is turn up at allotted times and sit still for a few hours. That's going to hurt, I don't usually sit still for long but I'll just turn my study plans around and study while I get dripped into. I'm going for an orientation of chemo on Monday afternoon so I can ask questions and see everything and how it all works. Then chemo proper on Wednesday.
They have free wifi and food. What more could I ask for ........ a desk, coffee, good light, chocolate, I think that's it? <winks wickedly>
