My 4th Chemo is next Week and will be having Herceptin for the first time

My 4th Chemo is next week and I will be having Herceptin for the first time. I am worried about how it is going to affect my heart. I have had panic attacks in the past where my heart races and I feel like I can't breathe.

What are people's experiences with having Herceptin treatment did you get many side effects?

My first 3 rounds of chemo have been manageable. I have been tired, a bit of nausea and tastes definately have changed. I have put on weight, but I think this is because of the steriods.

    I have been on herceptin since November and I don't notice any side effects. I have been quite fatigued lately but I just finished radio so I'm putting it down to that. Good luck. Tashie x

    Comparatively speaking, herceptin was a walk in the park!

    My chemo experiences were similar to yours. I found herceptin to have little if any side effects.
