Well the fat transfer is "fat transfer" but the Brava is a suction cup type thing that stretches your skin before the fat transfer, I am not a doctor so that's all i know about it :-)

It was a small clipping in the paper so I can't remember the surgeon's name. I do remember that it was at Southport on the Gold Coast. Their number at the cancer council is 55033700. Hopefully someone there can give you more details. Good luck!

I am between Tweed Heads and Byron Bay on the North Coast of NSW. If you wouldn't mind could you please give me the name of your surgeon as I would like to see if I could have my surgeon speak to them? Or I would try to make an appointment to see yours? Even if only to make contact to see who the closest Surgeon that knows anything about it is from me? I am not in any hurry really and would like to just find out as much as I can about this but I know I do not want to have any type of flap surgery! Apparently there will be some sort of talk on the Gold Coast next month about this and I'm trying to find out where and when so I can attend?

Any help from you would be appreciated and you have already helped me and given me hope so I thank you for that :-)

I found out about the trial because the surgeon who I saw about breast recon is the principle surgeon. I know that this trial is based only at the Flinders Medical Centre at the moment. Where do you live? 

I am certain that in time the use of the Brava will be greatly expanded across the country and for now it would be a matter of finding a surgeon who is trained. I don't beleive many surgeons have been trained however I would think that all Plastic Surgeons would have no problem performing the fat grafting. 

I'm very happy to share the details of my experience so if you have any questions let me know.
