Most Worried So Far
Throughout this whole journey now is when I am feeling the most worried and vulnerable, not sure why but felt the need to get it all out and telling my loved ones doesn't help - they try so hard but ...
Hi Kari, I used ice packs to my fingers and toes of an evening, and I think that this truly saved my nails, along with the dark nail polish. My nails went a coffee colour and delaminated in spots, but they are now growing out normally. You won't be as nauseous on the docetaxel, but you might get the joint pain. Just take your pain relief regularly on those days, and hibernate, it used to hit me for 2-3 days, and then I was ok. Just take it ine treatment at a time, and it will be less daunting.
