Today as I was about to pick up my daughter from her first day of high school, my oncologist calls..."I need to speak to you Celeste..do you have anyone with you right now? Can you sit down please......

Oh Celeste! I am so, so, so upset for you. Like you say, how can they give you that false sense of security and then land that on you. I wish I was there to give you a big hug.
The cancer in my bones spread quite quickly too while I was on Tamoxifen (which obviously didn't work) but seems to have slowed down considerably since my switch to Femara. Mine is hormone positive - I haven't had any chemotherapy yet - just hormone treatment.
I will pray my hardest for you. You are such a beautiful soul and I do believe miracles do happen. I hope the new drug regime will prove to be your miracle treatment.
