Monday Update

Today was "results" day from my breast MRI.  So happy it was normal for both breast.  This though leaves my doctors wondering where has this one in my lymph node come from..... It is breast cancer so it is likely it came from my 1st tumour, even though it has grown after all of the treatment.  Next steps are:  I am having a PET scan on the 25th which will show up if there are any "hot spots" in my body... (unlikely) my drs though are leaving nothing to chance. Follow-up with my surgeon and oncologist on the 26th then  if nothing is found from the PET Scan then surgery on the 30 Sept - clearance of all the lymph nodes under my right arm.  It is thgen highly likely that I will have chemo.  Today was a good day as I don't have to have my breast removed, which was the suggestion if the MRI was positive.
