Molecular breast score index
Just wanted to know have other people had this test done when they reached 5 years on hormone therapy to see if a further 5 years is beneficial?
I have never bee Offered one by my oncologist,seems others have,I had never heard of it till recently, people say it’s even covered y Medicare, would be nice to know either way,even if 5 more years is beneficial it would make me more excited to take it for that time,I’ve already taken it for 6 years,I’m on tamoxifen.

- Yes I wasn’t sure maybe it’s not as common to get it after all, the stuff I read may be incorrect? Not sure,
- I'm with @afraser! My Oncologist changed me from 5 to 10 years based on research. Down to 15 months to go!
- I was on Letrozole not tamoxifen and my oncologist recommended another five years based on research specifically on Letrozole rather than a test. He considered it an extensive and convincing result, so I soldiered on. Ten years done and dusted!
