Mixed Emotions
Well its only 2 days til my surgery on Thursday and I am having very mixed emotions.
At times I am on top of it all and can see the positive of this huge event in my life but am also feeling scared...

Good luck with your surgery. I just had a bi lateral masectomy with tissue expanders on 4/11/2010. The pain killers really do help. I found the most annoying thing is the drains I had put in from the lymph nodes removal. I totally understand how upset you are your baby's first bday. That is a big milestone.
I at least was out of hospital for Xmas. The only downfall is I started my first dose of chemo on xmas eve. So i was a little bit nausea. So this year my kids had a pretty quiet Xmas, as I was too scared to drive all over the countryside visiting incase I was sick.
Please if you want to ask any questions about my surgery or the tissue expanders. Feel free. When ever I feel like I need support I come to this site. Sometimes I blog and other times all I need is to read other girls blogs and just knowing that there is other people out there who understands, gets me through. There are some beautiful women on this website who are so helpful, all the ones that have replied to you have help me when I first came on this site.
