I am inspired  by your ability to be so enduring. I'm looking forward to meeting and being uplifted by so many enduring women and getting some good info about how to stay well.

Yes I got to get fit and well for Sydney that is for sure.

I find I just start to pick myself and then some thing knocks me down, it certainly likes to keep putting us to the test doesn't it.  But guess what I will win this one and the next one and the one after but hopefully I won't need to. Hopefully this is it for now.

Hi Mich,  Yes unfortunately radiation does "zap" your immune system.  I got really sick after my sessions back in 2007.  It took a while for me to get some energy back.  So take it easy, we want to see you at Sydney.  XLeonie

Thank you Neece that is so reassuring.  I can't believe I am doing this trip on my own but I will get there........that is for definitie.  It is one of the things I am very looking forward to doing this year..  I do have a lovely friend who lives 2 hours out of Sydney (who I met on the BCNA website) who will also be attending the Conference so that gives me a lil confidence to know I will know someone.  My hubby also can't believe I am doing this trip without him.  I am sure everything will go fine and I am looking forward to meeting you all.

I am bed ridden with a bloody infection at present and on medication.  I have 3 zaps to go next week and then I can head on home and was hoping I wouldn't have any more hiccups.  I guess at least this way it is making me rest, if I could only stop coughing long enough to rest :-)

Stage IV (aka metastatic/secondary breast cancer) is a little more "shit" than all other breast cancer as it is 100% terminal

it certainly doesn't matter to me which stage of BC we are at, we are all fighters, survivors, pink sisters who are here for each other.

Unfortunately i am a bit shy but I am making this trip to the conference on my own because I believe it is important for me to meet with so many people who have been on this journey, are on this journey.

We are all in it together.  The ladies that are more advanced than early BC are an ispiration to us all and I take my hat off to you.  I sometimes feel like I would like to get inside your head and find out where your strength and your fighting skills come from because you are amazing and I feel I am awe of you. 

Thank you and I look forward to meeting you all.  BCNA girls have become my friends and my sisters through this whole journey and I definitely know I would not have got this far so well without you.  You are here for me when I wake up and here for me when I go to sleep.
