Metaplastic breast cancer?

I would love to hear from anyone who has or is going through treatment for metaplastic breast cancer. I'm particularly interested in chemotherapy treatments as I've been told there is nothing known to be effective.

    That's great Marg -- I did misread your post, so apologies for that.  The site is a little quieter than normal over the holidays, so feel free to post again a bit later if you don't receive any responses.  Hope you enjoyed Christmas, too. :)

    Hello Di, Thanks for the welcome and suggested group. I don't think it is the right one for me at this point. Perhaps you thought I meant "metastatic" but metaplastic breast cancer is a rare type (<1% of cases). Even so, if it's only 0.5% I reckon there could be average 70 cases a year diagnosed in Australia. I'm hoping some of them might get online here. I tried searching the site and found one reference in a recent blog post and have requested to be a Contact.
