Hi Michelle I was diagnosed mid June. Had lumpectomy early June doctors thought beign that's why the lumpectomy. Left mastectomy was undertaken on 25 June as it turned out to be metaplastic. I have had radiation before so it looks like chemo for me. My doctor is going to refer me to an oncologist.
Feeling not to bad thought I would be worse.
I was never diagnosed with metaplastic breast cancer before so I am trying to find out as much as possible. Especially treatment re chemo. Were you sick on the weekly chemos, (nausea, vomiting), I'm guessing you lost your hair.
There is a lot of conflicting info on net.
I am happy to hear your 2 yearly checkup was all clear.
