Meds before Chemo
Hi all you wonderful women! Just wondering why I have not been given any meds to take the night before chemo? I am triple negative and starting on 4 x AC every 2 weeks and then 4 x taxol every 2 week...

I start AC on 20th. The only premed is on the day which will probably be anti nausea tab akensyo one hour before chemo, and the dexa which they give over 15 minutes in the drip. Taxol premeds are different. My oncologist said to start constipation drugs ( colony's and senna ) the night before chemo and take 2-3 days as anti nausea drugs are constipating.
Ring the unit and ask about the diazepam. They may be able to get you lorazepam instead which helps nausea as well. Take a partner or friend with you and also ask if you can go in before and see the unit where you're being treated
