I have just got my results back today and am feeling over the moon.
Fortunately I had the mastectomy cos the cancer was riddled throughout my breast. HOWEVER all 19 of the lymph nodes which were taken away from my body showed NO CANCER!!! I am so happy.
I am now being referred to an Onchologist for some radiation and hormonal treatment to get rid of what ever is left thay 'may' be lurking around. Everything else is going well.
I was so happy I had a new hair style, colour and cut. It may be in vain in the future, though right now - I can handle everything and cope with life again.
