I'm exactly what you've been looking for, as this was me (searching for research, answers, anything really) back in May prior to my surgery. I didn't blog about it here, but I did respond to others with their queries.
I'm really happy with my choice of surgery. Three months post surgery and I'm happy with how I look. And I was especially glad to find a surgeon who listened to me and supported my decision.
5 days in hospital (and unfortunately another 5 days in with a suspected post op infection), minimal scarring and great shape (physically, but more importantly emotionally too!)
