Hey @LMK74, hope all went well. I was in hospital for 6 days (had mastectomy with immediate recon using implant). Only used strong pain killers for 3 days and then was on panadol only. Try and get someone to get you a U pillow from KMart as that will help you be supported when you are trying to sleep and make sure that you keep the intake of panadol to a regular basis until you get rid of your drains. When you are aching at the sentinel node site get your breast care nurse to give you some thick dressings so you can slip them between your bra band and your skin and this will act as a buffer and help to relieve some of the pain. So good that you're through this part. Rest, relax and try and get some beautiful sunshine. All the best lovely. Xx Cath
