Hi socoda, I contacted  the encore program today at Macquarie university hospital in Sydney.  
They were very impressed that i got the information  from this forum.

Hi @Hulos, also if there is not an encore program near you there is also the enrich program which is run by cancer council. Very similar to encore but with no pool component instead exercises using therabands. Have done both and both are excellent. Xx Cath

Oh @Glemmis you made me smile as you said de-robing all the bits!  For me it is also glasses and even though I put them in the same spot in the evening I still look around wondering where did I put them!  That is the sign of non-acceptance of wearing glasses. I was the opposite with the bra and always wore a bra and slept in an aahh bra and still do.........I think it has become a security blanket.  Walking those fingers up the wall a few times a day helps with the movement.
 
Take care and @Hulos as everyone else has said, keep up the exercises and you will get there.  Don't compare your level of recovery to others as we all vary - the most important thing is you are looking after you and doing what you are meant to and eventually you maybe able to enrol in the Encore program as was suggested earlier by Kath.  Put  encore into the search engine within the site here and or google and you should find one near you, except for Victoria, where funding has run out!

Hi @Hulos, glad it all went well for you, yes keep up the exercises, they really help. I went without a bra most of the time after my mastectomy. I am small breasted so could hide it. I was back at work 10 days later but lucky it was winter so wore a jacket, I just found bras too uncomfortable for about 2 months. I still have discomfort 10 months later & cant wait to get the bra off at night, plus the wig & arm sleeve! Hope all goes well with radiation. 

Also research and see when YWCA are doing an encore program near you. Its fantastic.

Thank you everyone,  before the surgery I thought  i would be lopsided, that was my words and i must say how wrong and harsh I was with my words.
I am wearing a post surgery  bra with the  soft filling,feels fine and its not the prosthetic yet. I will get the  prosthesis also once I've healed in about 6 weeks. I also brought csome ofvthe ither crop top like bras, but the arm is not flexible  enough yet to wear them, although i recall one of you saying to wear it from bottom up ,rather than trying to wiggle into it from top. I think that was  primek....thank you
I've also searched for the hydro  pools near me to assist in healing.......thank you primek for that. 
Yes it has been a journey, from the diagnosis  in late Oct 16, followed by 6 months of chemo. ...ops done
Next is radiation for 6 weeks ...
I have a drs appointment  tomorrow  morning as a follow  up after surgery  with further  pathology  test results...i believe  its routine to have that done.
You ladies are so lovely , you provide so much support that i cant thank you enough.
