I had mastectomy 5 weeks ago today - same diagnosis of invasive DCIS and DCIS's....none found in lymph nodes...and I had my first chemo a week and a half ago (they recommended chemo due to my invasive component being 3.8cm).
So, you will find out soon what your treatment will be...I think the worst part is all the waiting - once you have a plan perhaps you wil feel less stressed. I have days of feeling ok about it all.....then days of feeling like a misery guts! I have found keeping active as best I can is my solution to keeping happier and feeling more sane! But I guess we're all gonna have good and bad days and just accept them as they happen......
