Margins, margins, margins
So after a 2nd excision, the pathology comes back with 2 tiny ducts very close to the margin. So close in fact that its within 1mm of the edge.

I didnt get clear margins so it was in the next week for the mastectomy. 3 weeks to recover and then straight on to chemo. I do still have more surgery to go. Mastectomy number 2 and recon. Got the call yesterday that its happening on 23rd July. I almost wish it was next week so that I dont have to stew on it for the next 5 weeks!! I know what I am in for this time:(
Dan, I hope your surgeon starts listening to what you want. Conservative or not, its all your choice. xx
