Malignant Phyllodes Tumour

Hi Linda, I had surgery for a malignant phyllodes tumour MPT in November 2019. I had unilateral mastectomy and 5 weeks radiation as my tumour was 7.5cm ( fast growing little buggers ). The key is wide clear margins of at least 1cm around the tumour. Yes, have your surgeon monitor closely...although rare they can reoccur. I belong to a Facebook group for phyllodes with many women from around the world. It is hard when little is known about our tumours, the Facebook group is super supportive.
