Mad Hair Day

Hi to all, on Saturday 30th May we held a Mad Hair Day at our home to celebrate half way through my chemo. People attended with silly hats and wigs and we had a lovely afternoon tea. 5 people shaved their heads including my tufty bits. My sister in law Suzanne raised over $2000 for breast cancer research.     Thanks Karen for your support. We're on this roller coaster together. Just stay in the carriage and prepare yourself for the highs and lows..... And hang on tight ha ha

    Thanks Rowdy, I'm fortunate to have great friends and family who laugh every day, even at the silly things. Keep a positive approach and it will pass in a positive way.

    Good for you Tracey!  It's worth celebrating every little milestone. It's wonderful to have that support and feels so good to give back. I agree with Rowdy. Better to laugh than cry (there will still be days that you cry). Keep up the good work! Karen xox

    Fantastic idea love to hear people are laughing, this is the only way I got through my trip.

    I always thought if I'm laughing I'm not crying, don't get me wrong I still had alot of bad days. Great to have the milestones, good luck with the restxx

    Thanks for your support Maureen. Am actually now past halfway, cos had number 4 of 6 on Tuesday just gone. Only 2 more to go. Will be good to move forward after this.
