After just having had surgery and lymph nodes removed I wondered if it is advisable to wear a medic alert bracelet?

I had all of my lymph nodes removed as part of my surgery to remove my lump in 2005. I have also wondered about this and asked my Dr. His responce was if I was in a position where I was not able to inform whoever about my arm then it probably didn't matter which arm they used to try and save my life. Which technically makes sense. However I have heard of women who have special bracelets that inform of their condition. I don't know much about them though. I think it is personal choice and whether you can afford a MA Bracelet. I hope this helps. Tania
