  • Thanks, I have checked out the site. It looks good !

Also ..on Scanning Laser, and how to do Self Massage techniques, early on.. I think is helpful to clients with lymph issues.

  • I also have lymphedema. I was so bored with the brown sleeves we get here in Aust, I started looking for a more attractive alternative. I found it in the US. I loved them so much, I now find myself the exclusive importer into Australia. Have a look at www.lymphedonna.com.au. They are medically correct, I've had them approved by the TGA, they have been wickered against moisture, aloe vera treated, diamond band to lessen roll over at the top, and I am so proud to bring this beautiful choice to my fellow sufferers. These days I wake up and decide which sleeve I feel like wearing, and choose my outfit around it!
  • There is a web site called lymphodivas (I think) and they have all types of sleeves and gloves in lots of different colours and designs some are really great the company is family owned and is run in America but when I emailed I got a reply very quickly from one of the family members, they have agents in Australia. Hope this helps

  • Hi,

I have received 2 free sleeves and hand thingy from the OT department of RPAH in Sydney.

I had to go in for a fitting for size, but also don't have lymphodema but for flying.

  • I am also in the ACT.I haven't attended the lymphoedema clinic yet, it is planned but it always seems to be around the wrong time, in relation to my chemo.

Hope you had a great trip & the sleeve & glove worked.

  • i paid about $170 last August for a sleeve & glove from the hospital Lymphoedema clinic (in the ACT).  I don't have lymphoedema but was flying only about eight weeks after my mastectomy so it was recommended to be on the safe side. It was made to order & took a couple of weeks to arrive.
