Lymphatic drainage

Hi Anna, The occupational therapist was lovely this morning. She was sympathetic and taught us gentle massage which may help in a few weeks! The hematoma has to disperse and the body has to retrain its drainage system! I had nipple sparing reconstruction at the same time as the mastectomy. Supposed to give excellent results for women with small breasts and not much body flesh. I have silicon implants now and will not need further surgery. My right nipple is a little dark and if it doesn't improve I will have to have a skin graft to keep the implant covered but that is a way off if at all. One tip today was to keep a container of wet face washes in the fridge and wrap them around all the swelling. Feels so good! Are you working?
