When it comes to medical questions it is always best to ask the doctors themselves to explain. It is a very valid question to ask of your surgeon as the risk of Lymphodema is higher when all of the lymph nodes are removed. You have probably been reading about sentinel node biopsies where they only take one node and test this and then only take further nodes if the first one is positive for cancer.
