Lung nodules
Morning ladies,
It has been ages since I have put a post up but I regularly check in to make sure all my pink sisters are doing ok!
I am now living in country Victoria after my husband told me the marrage was over (app he found my cancer journey all too confronting!) I had to go to hospital on Monday as I was feeling faint, breathless and my heart was racing. 3 days in High Dependancy and now on a beta blocker to slow my heart rate.
On my discharge summary it says they found multiple nodule in both lungs! freaking out !!!!
No one said anything to me whilst I was in hospital, I am seeing my onc on Mon.
Has anyone else had lung nodules?
Will try to keep calm untill I get to see oncologist but am feeling quiet alone at the moment.

- Yes I have a lung nodule but it hasn’t grown at all in 2 years so they aren’t worried. They said it’s quite common to find them with all the scans we have, but they can be caused by coughing too hard or other things in our past.
- Sorry to hear that, @Pommy8 ... a buddy in Qld had a lung nodule some years ago - it was fairly shallow, so it was surgically removed. Then another deeper one was spotted a year or so later & they are just monitoring it, as it has not changed at all since being discovered.
take care & all the best for your ongoing discussions xx - Found out yesterday 1 nodule on my lung and one on my spleen totally freaking out but Dr dosnt seem concerned,said to retest in 4 months.
I know they say don't worry but hard to believe don't worry as when I had dcis told very unlikely find cancer.
Chemo I didn't have due to couldn't promise would benefit due to over treating hormone bc. Oncologist and radiologist all said send results for oncotype which came back no chemo.
So had 15 round of radiation and hormone tablet letrozole. that is great news, congratulations. Now go and celebrate.

Just got home from 2 days of tests :( thank you all ladies for your support x the CT scan showed 4 nodules but all too small to biopsy ! they checked against my old scans and they have grown but only slightly ! so this is good news LOL now we know that they are there we can keep a closer eye on them and if they start getting igger I am well placed to hit them hard ( depending on the pathology !) scan also showed areas that have been damaged from the radiation which probably accounts for my breathlessness ! Ah the joys . Hilary
As the girls have said, keep really busy until Monday. Busy busy - have you got any little kids nearby that you could "adopt' for a day or two. Now that's busy!!!! (Currently babysitting my two grandchildren - 5 and 3). Let us know how it all "pans out" for you. XLeonie
