Hi@deedeedee. I had 2 lumpectomys in June 2019 for invasive ductal carcinoma. Yep both sides! I recovered quickly and not too sore. Ditto the above information also a top that opens at the front makes it easier for dressing. Take it easy at home let your family spoil you. Over thinking this daunting situation is very natural. I was a mess for weeks in the end I found it best to focus on each stage as it came about that way my brain was not working over time on things I could not control.
