Hi @"deepti.sinha", Sorry, I am just in from work. I can see lots of the girls are helping you out. If you pop on over to choosing breast reconstruction the lovely @primek has started a post for you. Sometimes when you can’t get into the groups it is because you have inadvertently logged out of BCNA. However I will mention it to @Marianne_BCNA as you are the second person who has had trouble joining. @SoldierCrab is correct, we are all volunteers with other jobs but will always get to you when we can. I can see the lovely @Jane221 has signed you up. In regards to your choices it’s a very personal thing that once you are armed with all your information you need to sit down and weigh it all up, pos vs neg for both. My first diagnosis I went with lumpectomy and chemo/rads. Unfortunately I did have a recurrence. I then went on and had mastectomy and reconstruction. Honestly at the time of my diagnosis I just went with what was recommended. It was all a bit of a rush. However I was in no way prepared for a mastectomy. Also at the time there was no choosing breast reconstruction group where I could chat with others who had been where I was. My advise is take a big breath, read what you can and have a chat with your doctors about your options. Hugs to you.
