Lump removed.
I had my lump out yesterday. The nurse is coming here this afternoon to take the drain out. Feeling ok not as sore as I thought I would. Now the two week wait for results.
Wow, when the head starts to spin and our thoughts are running crazy, that is the time I began to teach myself as many ways to distract myself as possible. Lots of reading, I got stuck into a series called "Game of Thrones" and love movies, so that helped. I was lucky to have had my parents arrive straight after surgery, and went through the weird experience of having my Mum help me with showering too. Depending on what stage youre up to depends on how much you can do. I used the "My Journey Kit" to educate myself, and the DVD for pilates, which is great. As time went by, I practised stretches, and taught myself how to paint, tried to do some meditation, and tried to do some positive thinking when the mood struck. Take care, and I wish you luck, Bel
