Lump gone
I am now back home after the mapping yesterday morning and surgery in the afternoon. There is not much pain but just need to take it easy. So glad the lump is gone and hopefully the test results will...
Hi
my oncologist still has to speak to me - should be this week - as even though those results are great in the pathology there is something called a key 67 which had a very high reading. the pathologist had made my cancer a grade 2 - the oncologist has said that with this high reading it indicates to her that it was multiplying faster and behaving more like a grade 3 and she wanted more information from the pathologist. This is what is the difference between chemo and no chemo. If chemo is needed(should find out this week) then I will have 3 - 4 doses of docetaxel and cyclophophamide every 3 weeks. I feel she is going to say she recommends chemo so I am trying to find out as much as I can so I can try and be prepared for it.
I will be going to the cancer care centre in gosford hospital.
I am hoping to work through my chemo but guess that depends what happens. so I will have to also need to find time to excercise at the gym as it will be dark soon when I get home from work.
take care Jessica
