Lump after Mastectomy

Afternoon everyone.  It has been almost 8 weeks post mastectomy of right breast (2 x tumours triple positive) and have returned to my surgeon three times to have approx 30ml drained each visit.  I have felt a small lump at the mastectomy scar site under my arm pit towards my back for the last three weeks.  Today I requested an Ultrasound and the Dr agreed. I had this done this afternoon and the treating Dr said it seemed to look ok but did an aspiration and sent to pathology.  Has anyone experienced these symptoms after surgery.

Your doctor seems to be doing the right things. My lymphoedema therapist noticed a small, very smooth lump on my mastectomy site where I also had a persistent and refilling  seroma. A visit to my surgeon and an ultrasound  revealed - a seroma inside the seroma! The body can do some weird stuff. I trust your result will be weird but harmless. Best wishes.
