  • Hi Shazza,

What a confusing result you have. I would be getting a second opinion if it was me. Or at least get someone to explain the result to you. Was the specailist your surgeon? Do they give you a copy of your test results...coz they should. I Always ask for a copy of all reaults.

I'd be looking deeper into what results are for what tests. And get confirmation about what it all means to you and further treatment.

Hope you can get it all sorted out. Nothing worse than not knowing what is going on with your own body.

    Take care :)

  • Hi Sharon

Hang in there - "God" only gives you what SHE knows you can handle.  Retail therapy is fantastic - and you DESERVE IT!!.  Whatever makes you feel better - DO IT.  Take care and keep letting us know how you are - we are all with you.XLeonie

  • Yes Chrissy, you r so right about retail therapy.I couldn't get my arm up after my mastectomy. So instead of physio  I went shopping and had to reach up to the  top rack for the bargain clothes.I had my arm fixed in no time and lots of bargains as well! I would also add another therapy -alcohol(for those anxiously waiting for treatment) A glass of red or bubbly a few nights a week takes the edge off the old nerves! And I am not a drinker so that is probably why 1 glass does the job.

  • Hi Sharon,

Retail therapy is always good for the spirit.  Your having a rough trot arent you but you seem to be a positive person. I had infection in my mastectomy wound but antibotics cleared it up quickly.

Take care of your skin, mouth, and wounds.

    Chrissy D :) xoxo

  • Hi hun dont believe the bad luck you are having. To think i went thro BC twice had all they could throw at me and sailed through. Only infection i had was first time while having chemo. I had a cold sore on top lip started to eat away my face. Hospital sorted that with some miracle cream. Also had an infection in mouth ended up with 3 abcess. Again anti biotics sorted. As far as surgery went 100% didnt even need pain killers either time. So feel for you love get your self boosted up as it seems you are a bit proned to infections. Keep clear of coughs colds and and other viruses that are floating around. xx

  • Hi Sharon,

You really are having a bad run.It' s such a pain having to go through surgery all over again. But then it's not uncommon.Don't worry about the uneven boobs, you can always add some padding to the little one.I've had the lumpectomyand radiation(2003)and then mastectomy(same boob) and chemo last year.I can tell you that having "some"boob is better than no boob. You still have some cleavage and don't have to alter your clothes.Radiation is easier to go through than chemo.Let's face it,all the treatment choices are pretty awful and it's such a drawn out journey to recovery.I hope it's all smooth sailing for your next op.
