Oh Cas - you have been doing it really hard! At my hospital they would try twice then find a doctor to do it. I guess I was lucky not having a port but I thought they were supposed to make it easier?! It did seem that there was 1 'head' nurse who was the expert so I sure hope you've found a good one.
Look after yourself -I hope it's going ok now.
