hi everyone,

I was talking to Jurina this evening and she was very informative and helpful. She has been campaigning for breast reconstructions for the last 10 years or so and was very interested in what is going on today. She said that if there is the slightest chance anyone is thinking of reconstruction they should get on the list immedialely. You can always take your name off later on  but if you leave it the urgency goes out of the campaign and it could go back to a 10 year wait....after you register down the track. When you register ask where you are on the list. You have to get an appointment to see a plastic surgeon before you go on the proper list so there is plenty of time to change your mind.

Also, is anyone paying for their chemo? If so Jurina would like a list of the name of the drug(s) and how much you paid. Qld Health has started charging people although they get reimbursed for the drugs from the govt.
