Hello Elizabeth, sorry for the delayed response. I sit in front of a computer for work, so by the time personal computer time comes around, I'm over it.
I spoke with my nurse friend who works for a PS and she informed me that the liposuction does involve 4-6 weeks of bruising and soreness, and it will be two or three sessions.
So, I'm kind of weighting it up, go in and get it over and done with. The lipo may take about 12-18 months in total. The tummy DIEP maybe six weeks of discomfort.
Also, I am very conscious of exercising and being in good mental and physical health prior going into surgery.
Thanks kindly, for you thoughts. I shall try and touch base tomorrow, it's my birthday also, so I may not get near this screen.
