My Oncologist prescribes Effexor but only for hot flushes, apparently its well known that helps that. I attempted taking it twice and just couldnt, nausea, dizziness, all that come with a typical ant depressant. Im too drug sensitive and cant take a damn thing! I think valium would work but I never took the risk I can only imagine how addictive it would become. I don't sleep at all, its horrendous,nothing works and find Im in a vicious cycle now having to work full time that my weekends are a blur of trying to rest and not do much. So so hard!!
